The stories of twin sister and brother Astrid and Apollo are unique, high-interest, and relatable.

They go camping, fishing, to a soccer game, and celebrate Hmong New Year.

I have been reading The Starry Campout with my second graders and they have been so engaged.

I love that each story incorporates Hmong food and culture into the story in a natural way. (This has been a goal of mine with the Martinez Kids Adventures as well... But with Mexican food and culture.)
